Tsunami

   TSUNAMI- CAUSE , DAMAGE AND PREVENTION

TSUNAMI is derive from Japanese word for harbor (tsu) and wave (nami). Tsunami is a natural diaster which is fast-moving waves in the ocean caused because of landslides and earthquakes inside the ocean. Tsunami mostly occurs in Japan. Tsunami has very long waves occur in ocean. But it start suddenly it waves travel at high speed across the ocean. Tsunami can destroy beaches, trees , even drag big vehicles , house even town.

Tsunami cannot be prevented, but we can take safety measure from tsunami. Waring system to give  high alter for tsunami, especially for pacific ocean. Issue alerts before the big waves reach people and harm them.

Tsunami are also known as TIDAL WAVES. Because they rise and fall more slowly than ordinary surface waves, they rise slowly in a series of fast-moving waves in ocean.And it can cause earthquakes or volcanlic eruption. It wave length is very long. Tsunami can be hundred kilometer long. Tsunami occur in large body of water. 

The deadlist tsunami recorded in history was 26,DECEMBER 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. This gaint waves moved so fast that thousand of people died due to tsunami in 2004. This tsunami was largest in five decades. It was caused due to earthquakes. This waves gaint moved very quickly. Thousand of people in Indonesia, Sri-Lanka , Thailand, India , Somalia and many other nations was affected with tsunami. And large number of people was killed or injured by it. 

On this date, most of countries located around Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal was affected by tsunami. In india Andaman Island was said to be extensively damaged due to tsunami after that state the state was affect in tsunami in india are Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andra Pradesh and Puducherry.

Tsunami can continue for days in some place. Dangerous tsunami can last for more then a day.

The best way to identify tsunami is Strange and Unusal Behaviour in animals or Abnormal ocean activity, a wall of water. Tsunami create a loud '' Roaring '' sound  similar to train or jet aircraft.

Human have minimum power to prevent or control tsunami, but humans can still apply their knowledge or put their extra efforts to get less effect from tsunami.
